With more than 25 years in the automotive industry — including three years in Palo Alto working with startups and tech giants alike — I’ve built my career across embedded development with traditional Tier1s, research and IEEE standardization, the setup of globally operating test and validation teams, and product development spanning hardware and software, from the backend to onboard IVI and the companion app. For the past 13 years, I’ve carried direct leadership responsibility for large international teams.
Over the last six years, I’ve concentrated on bringing the complete portfolio of digital EV services into the vehicle and the companion app — across EMEA, the US, and Asia, and covering both public and home charging.
Integrating digital EV services across the vehicle, app, and backend — from AI-based deep learning of charging-station attributes and payment integration on three continents (including Plug & Charge) to charging cost transparency, live charging curves, charging settings, and battery preconditioning.
Transformed local development partners into a Portugal software hub (200+ developers), embedding the teams into central processes.
Reorganization toward value creation in autonomous, end-to-end units, with AI integrated in work processes (MS & GitHub Copilot) — building a delivery-capable structure and efficient operating model.

IEEE Automotive Ethernet standardization; led Car2X communication for North America with a focus on vehicle-to-traffic-signal communication; high-speed OFDM testing with Motorola and Intel (Best Paper Award) — during my time in Palo Alto.
